DownToEarth.Kiwi is the blog of Robert MacCulloch and Brogan Powlesland.

Its purpose is to generate debate about how to achieve a better New Zealand for all.

The principal editor of this website is Robert MacCulloch. A native of New Zealand, Robert worked at the Reserve Bank of NZ, before he travelled to the UK to complete a PhD in Economics at Oxford University. He pursued research interests at London School of Economics and Princeton University, before joining Imperial College London Business School. Robert subsequently returned to his alma mater in NZ.

Brogan Powlesland is an occasional contributor and acts as the webmaster. He is a former strategic advisor at Parliament and holds a Master of Analytics from Massey University.

From time to time, other guests will be invited to provide thought-provoking pieces.
